1. Why are the pH values of the same sample different in two measurements?

Temperature changes or chemical reactions within the sample itself can cause pH changes. Therefore, it's important to maintain a consistent temperature and avoid chemical reactions.

2. Why are the readings inconsistent when measuring the same sample simultaneously on two different pH meters?

This is because the calibration conditions of the two pH meters are different, resulting in different measured values. Therefore, the pH meters should be calibrated using the same buffer solution at the same time before simultaneous measurements.

4. How often should electrodes be calibrated?
