How to improve the results accuracy of automatic potentiometric titrator

The automatic potentiometric titrator is an analytical instrument designed based on the principle of potentiometric titration and used for volumetric analysis. As it is a precision device, it requires careful handling by laboratory personnel during operation and maintenance to improve the accuracy of results and extend its lifespan.

How to improve the results accuracy of fully automated potentiometric titrator?

1. Clean the electrodes and titration head with pure or deionized water. Never use tap water directly for convenience.

2. When adding the titrant, ensure that there are no air bubbles in the tubing and stopcock.

3. Add the appropriate amount of solvent during titration. To ensure the combined electrode is balanced, open the filling cap during titration. Replenish the filling solution promptly as the electrode filler level drops.

4. The rinsing and storage of the electrodes should be determined according to the specific model. The laboratory should also ensure that the solution is replaced promptly when it becomes cloudy.
