How to select conductivity meter based on application

Conductivity meter is available in various varieties and at different prices. For different application scenarios, what kind of conductivity meter should be selected?

First, the general selection direction should be determined according to the scene where the conductivity meter is used. If you need to carry the conductivity meter to different places for testing frequently, you should give priority to pen-type conductivity meter or portable conductivity meter. The difference between them is that pen-type conductivity meter is generally made into a single range and has a small measurement range, while  portable conductivity meter has a wide measurement range, adopts DC power supply, and can be carried to the site.

If used in a fixed environment, such as in laboratory, a desktop conductivity meter is more suitable. The laboratory benchtop conductivity meter has a wide measurement range, multiple functions and high accuracy.

The industrial conductivity meter is suitable for complex environment, with strong environmental adaptability, strong anti-interference ability, good stability, reliable work, and functions of analog output, digital communication, upper and lower limit alarm and control.

In addition, if the water conductivity meter is used in high ambient temperature, it is recommended not to choose a product with LED display, because it is easy to be damaged. If you need to print or process the measurement data with a computer, a conductivity meter with a communication interface is a good choice.
